Casting

Casting Call.

Rehearsal: 4th to 13th December (Edinburgh/Musselburgh)

Shows (including travel days) : 14th to 24th December (Swansea)

26th December to 31st December (Birmingham)

12 - 15th January (Southampton)

Fee: £3000 inclusive of holiday pay.

Accom/Expenses: Single occupancy Room – usually Travleodge. All travel in company van. Equity PD paid for any overnights away from Base (assumed Edinburgh).

Driving preferred – ideally confident to Drive a Transit van from Edinburgh to the above locations and home.

Get ins / Outs – it is expected that the acting company will help with load ins and outs at each location – these take about an hour.

Casting for 3 Roles:

Timothy – Character age 8 Character gender M

Confident Singer (Range - A4-C#5 )
Includes one dance routine although this is not very complex.
Full of energy and enthusiasm – he has a passion/obsession for finding Sharks. Is friendly and likeable and has a great relationship with his dad.
Typically cast as F Age 18-25

Dad – Character Age 35-50 Character gender M

Confident Singer (Range Ab2-B3 )
Includes one dance routine although this is not very complex.
Friendly and cheerful he has great relationship with his son Timothy. Is a stay at home dad who loves Elvis.
Typically cast as M Age 30 -50

Sally / Rocky / Mr Young/ Santa / Mrs Nichols (Various ages)

Confident Singer (Range C4 – E5)
Includes one dance routine although this is not very complex.
Multi-role performer happy with quick changes and able to distinguish a range of characters.
Typically cast as F 18 – 35.

Auditions - Friday 10th November 2pm to 5pm in Musselburgh. Will comprise of a song of your choosing and some sides from the show sent beforehand.
